Responsible to handle all transaction with customers accurately and efficiently include receiving payments, issuing receipts and keep track of all cash and credit transactions. Ensure all transactions run smoothly and maximize customer satisfaction. Provide basic customer service with polite manner

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage transactions with customer using POS system.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Collect customer payments either in cash, by credit card or debit card payment as per company SOP.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and hygiene at the cashiering area according to company standards.
• Greet customers when entering and leaving cashier counter.
• Maintain good hygiene, proper grooming and pleasant decorum throughout the day.
• Informs superior of any customer’s complaints.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations such as power/electrical failure, fire and robbery as and when required.
• Ensure that all cash and relevant documents are correctly handed over to the Assistant Chief Cashier / Chief Cashier (as per cashier SOP).
• Be always ready to provide assistant to customers.
• Pro-active support and work in a team to smoothen the cashier operation.
• Perform any other duties in general operational functions and ad-hoc assignments

SUMMARY

Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships. Handle customers’ inquiries independently, completely and accurately to the satisfaction of the customers. Work closely with other department to strengthen the company’s reputation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build sustainable relationship of trust with customer through interactive communications.
• Ensuring Jaya Grocer culture, standards & KPI are consistent.
• Responsible to attend customer in handling complaints, provide solutions and alternatives.
• Resolving and updating all customer feedback/product in the outlet to Store Manager & management following up to ensure resolutions.
• Assist with product new inquires, refunds and exchange.
• Maintain good hygiene, proper grooming and pleasant decorum throughout the day.
• Work together with other operational staffs to ensure customers receive efficient and courteous service.
• Understand well about store layout to assist customers, e.g. Product placement.
• Promote the selected products according to outlets promotions and festive season.
• Engage with customers to discover their wants and needs, provide advice or recommendation, directing them to the right product.
• Assist in general operational functions and ad-hoc assignments.

SUMMARY

Protecting company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances. Acting lawfully in direct defence of life or property.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Prepare report of irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting of premises and equipment controls.
• Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Ensure uniform security carry out duties as per company SOP (Passes tag, body searching & etc).
• Conduct briefing to uniform security team with any update information.
• Perform any other duties in general operational functions and ad-hoc assignments.
